Social Worker/ESP – Drug & Alcohol Program

Summary of Duties:
Social Worker for the Effective Safe Parenting (ESP) Program. This position will plan and deliver services to families affected by substance use that are enrolled in the ESP program by providing assessments of family members’ substance abuse problems, and providing linkage of substance abusing family members to formal substance abuse treatment programs and implementing an active recovery plan.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Abilities:
Master’s degree in Human Services preferred. Experience with at-risk families, substance abuse, CYS, and service coordination.

Certified Recovery Specialist – Drug & Alcohol Program

Summary of Duties:
Engage with UPMC in the Warm Handoff by serving as a liaison to connect individuals to detoxifications, rehabilitation, or MAT outpatient services. As well as providing support and education to individuals, encouragement, coaching, and recovery information to individuals.

Behavior Intervention Specialist I – School-Based Programs

Summary of Duties:
Provide therapeutic interventions and to lead skill-building groups, based on the Re-Education philosophy for students in grades K-12 who are referred to the behavioral health intervention model provided in the Oil City Area School DistrictThis position helps students achieve social and emotional success during the school day. Duties include: implementing behavioral health treatment plans, including providing behavioral interventions in classroom settings and during student crisis situations; leading and planning therapeutic skill-building groups; documenting services provided; collaborating with all stakeholders, including school personnel and families of students enrolled in the program. This position follows the school district schedule with 6 weeks of paid time off during the summer.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation, or counseling. Three (3) years experience working in CASSP system and mental health services agency; AND the above education requirements. Experience specific to treatment plan administration and the application of Behavioral Modification based on the student’s individual assessed needs is a plus.

Clinical Supervisor/ESP & FRP – Drug & Alcohol Program

Summary of Duties:
Provide clinical supervision to the Family Recovery Program (FRP) and the Effective Safe Parenting Program (ESP). Oversee consumer services and ensure compliance with established program standards and service delivery objectives. Duties include: serving as a resource for staff in identifying and resolving complex case problems; assuming consumer caseloads in response to work load or staffing shortages; training of staff; reading and signing-off of progress notes; and upholding clinical standards of care.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Abilities:
Master’s degree or above from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in administration or the human services) or other related field and two (2) years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes one (1) year of working directly with the chemically dependent. Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC).

Caseworker/Legal Advocate – PPC Violence Free Network

Summary of Duties:
The Legal Advocate’s area of concentration provides legal advocacy services to victims of domestic violence and sexual violence by assisting with Protection From Abuse petitions, accompaniment to legal proceedings, and referrals to appropriate legal and other resources. The areas of concentration require a working knowledge of domestic and sexual violence issues, crisis intervention techniques, supportive counseling philosophy, the criminal justice system, the Protection From Abuse law and database, and legal and community resources. This position is located at Family Service & Children’s Aid Society’s Shelter located in Franklin. The work schedule varies and will include some evening and occasional weekend hours based on program participants’ needs. 24-hour emergency on-call is required on a rotating basis. 
Required Skills, Qualifications and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or criminal justice preferred, but will accept equivalent training and experience. Proficient computer knowledge of MS Office Word & Excel. Proficient written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to complete 80 hour specialized victim service training.

Direct Service Worker (Part-Time) – Home & Community Services

Summary of Duties:
Provides a variety of supportive services to identified individuals in an effort to educate and encourage them to become as self-sufficient and independent as possible. Duties include, but are not limited to, providing direction to individuals in their own homes; assisting them in the community (i.e.: shopping, laundry, banking, medical); refer to available resources and provide assistance to obtain and monitor requested services as indicated by each individual’s outcomes.
